The School Community Youth Coalition is supported by the following partners

The Montezuma County Partners offers mentoring programs and works with at-risk youth. The program began with a vision of adult volunteers helping delinquent youth. Our small group of founders envisioned that these youth could be helped through love and guidance from a caring adult in an ongoing relationship. They acted on that dream and made it come true. That dream continues to be realized today.

The Piñon Project

The Piñon Project offers family support programs, early childhood programs, and youth programs. Their Family Resource Center leads initiatives and provides comprehensive services that promote positive outcomes for children and families

The Nest, Child Advocacy Center

The Nest’s mission is to strengthen our community’s response to child abuse and neglect through prevention, intervention, education and advocacy. The NEST provides a safe, child-friendly atmosphere that eases the emotional trauma a child experiences during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases.

Clarity Counseling

Clarity Counseling provides a mixture of mental health and substance abuse services. It offers outpatient care for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, persons with HIV/AIDS, women, DUI/DWI offenders, and criminal justice clients.

The Character Council

The council promotes good character throughout our community. This includes a bully prevention program, distribution of posters promoting individual character qualities, creation of good character" t-shirts and the publication of a monthly article in local newspapers promoting character qualities.

Montezuma County Social Services

MCSS offers child protective services and conducts abuse/neglect investigations.

Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center

The Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center makes a meaningful difference by delivering the highest quality mental health service to the community in the most appropriate, affordable, educational and accessible manner.

Cortez Addiction Recovery Services

Cortez Addictions Recovery Services, Inc., is a not-for-profit outpatient treatment program comprised of highly skilled staff using proven techniques in a safe environment providing personalized, quality, therapeutic care to substance-abusing adults and adolescents in group and individual settings. Our purpose is to reduce the negative effects of substance abuse and dependence on individuals, families, and the community in collaboration with other local resources.

KSJD Community Radio Project

KSJD promotes and sustains non-commercial, community based broadcasting that supports the inclusive voice, education and interests of our diverse rural audience in Montezuma County and the Four Corners Region.
